時間のテクスチャー
劉碧玲は台北生まれ。長年にわたり、時間が物質と生命の間に残す痕跡を探求してきた。氷海の起伏、山脈の紋理、生命循環の微かな光、人類の足跡……静謐で哲学的な視線を通して、「物」と「生」の境界に浮かび上がる時間のテクスチャーを捉えている。
本シリーズは、直感的かつ冷静なイメージで、言葉では表せない引力を定格し流動と構造が交差するリズムを提示する。世界は自身の歩調で語りかけ、共感と共存を求めるもし鑑賞の瞬間に微かな脈動を感じたなら、進行中の世界という文に新たなコンマが生まれ、時間や存在そしてあなた・私・彼らの関係を紡ぐ旅が始まる。
TEXTURES OF TIME
Pi-Lin Liu was born in Taipei and has long explored the traces that time leaves between matter and life. The rise and fall of icy seas, the lines of mountains, the faint glow of life cycles, and the marks of human presence - all are captured through her quiet and philosophical gaze as textures of time emerging between the inanimate and the living.
This series presents calm, intuitive images that freeze an unspoken pull, revealing a rhythm where flow and structure intersect. The world whispers in its own pace, seeking empathy and coexistence. If you sense a subtle pulse while viewing, a new comma may be added to the ongoing sentence of the world—inviting you to continue exploring time, existence, and the relationships between you, me, and others.

私は歩くことで時間を理解し、見ることで存在を探ってきました。写真は光、時間、そして世界を浮かび上がらせる方法であり、モビウス的な時間軌跡の中で、自分自身と何度も出会う旅でもあります。プラチナプリントは 、時間を沈殿させる私の方法です。深く静かな金属の光の中で、時間は封じ込められ、最も永続的な姿でこちらを見返してくる。碧玲私は心からの誠意を込めて、ひとつひとつのプラチナプリントを制作し、収蔵家と自分自身のためにその永続的な価値を留めています。
2015年以降、私は台湾、米国、中国で展覧会を開催。2018〜2024 年には、作品が IPA、TIFA、BIFA などの国際賞で高く評価されました。2026年3月私は日本で初めて《時間のテクスチャー》プラチナプリントの個展を開催します。Place M 主宰の瀬戸正人氏のご支援と企画に心より感謝いたします。
PI-LIN LIU
I understand time through walking and explore existence through seeing. Photography is a way for light, time, and the world to emerge, and it is also a journey in which I repeatedly meet myself along a Möbius-like path of time. Platinum printing is my method of allowing time to settle. Within the deep and quiet glow of metal, time is sealed and returns its gaze in the most enduring form. With utmost sincerity, I create each platinum print for both the collector and me, ensuring its permanence.
Since 2015, I have held exhibitions in Taiwan, the United States, and China. Between 2018 and 2024, my works received multiple recognitions from international awards including IPA, TIFA, and BIFA. In March 2026, I will hold my first solo exhibition of Textures of Time platinum prints in Japan, and I am deeply grateful for the support and curation of Masato Seto, director of Place M.
