Lost / 迷


「迷」という言葉はマイナスのイメージを思い起こさせる
　　　母を探して泣く子ども
　　　泥の中に消えてしまった宝物

だけど、迷うと旅は楽しくなる
　　　白昼夢に迷う
　　　音楽や芸術世界へ迷いこむ　心を舞い上がらせながら

とりわけアナログ写真制作と大判カメラは、ペースをスローダウンさせてくれる、冒険をはじめから終わりまで楽しませてくれる、記憶と希望を引き出してくれる、空想の中へと迷いこんでゆける


The word “lost” can conjure up negative images
　　　A crying child seeking mother
　　　A precious possession, missed, in the mud, no longer possessed

But being lost can also be a positive part of the journey
　　　Being lost in a daydream
　　　Being lost in music and art, allowing one’s mind to soar

Analogue photography and large format, in particular, offers an opportunity to slow down, to embrace the adventure from end to end, to tap into memories and hopes. To be lost in a reverie.
